Southpaw’s Organic Grill

Last time I was in Dallas, I went to visit my new friends, TJ and Reza, co-0wners of Southpaw’s Organic Grill.

I met TJ and Reza while I was filming my healthy travel food show, Good Food America. We did a great segment on their restaurant and had a lot of fun shooting there.

Now, Southpaw’s has become part of the usual rotation of places (amongst different Latte houses and, of course, Central Market) to visit when Super-sous and I travel to visit her parents (who live in Dallas).

If you’re in the Dallas area and are looking for a hearty and heart healthy meal – you gotta check it out!

 

Savor Saturday

With Lattes in hand, Super-sous and I are heading over to the Sunset Savor the Central Coast event. I’ll be cooking, speaking and signing my cookbook, Great Food Starts Fresh, at 3pm. And before that – we’ll be checking out our friend Aarti’s (from Aarti Paarti/Party) demo at Noon.

What else is cool about today? Tonight is the season finale of my show on Veria Living, Good Food America. I hit up an L.A. hotspot on tonight’s episode that is truly delicious – don’t miss it!

Bun Lai and Miya’s Sushi on Good Food America

I am so excited for tonight’s episode of Good Food America which features my buddy Bun Lai and his sustainable sushi restaurant, Miyas Sushi.

Bun Lai is my sustainable seafood hero. When you have a moment, please grab your Latte and read all about him. We had a blast filming at his restaurant for the show and diving for seaweed and foraging for shore crabs. Bun is leading the pack when it comes to innovation and sustainable practices.
